About MOST RATED

MOST RATED is the new music streaming platform that lets you decide who makes the playlist.

We believe that there is a treasure trove of untapped talent in the long-tail of the music scene, that fails to get noticed by the gatekeepers at streaming platforms and mainstream radio stations. By enabling Artists to share their work with an audience of passionate music fans, our mission is to support Artists on the new music scene to find a wider audience and reach their potential.

Right now MOST RATED is in its early stages, providing a basic listening experience as we learn and get feedback from our Artists and Listeners. Did you know that according to a 2018 study, only 51% of tracks on Spotify are ever listened to all the way to the end?. We provide a fixed schedule like a radio station, meaning that you can't skip tracks. We believe that by hearing music more than once, our Listeners will discover and enjoy more new music that they'll love and stay true to the intention of the Artist.

Any performing Artist can upload and share their music, with the MOST RATED tracks being played more often. This puts Listeners in control, collaboratively curating the best new music on the local music scene.
